This year The Diana Award joins the world in marking the 20th Anniversary of Princess Diana's death, celebrating her legacy and the qualities she governed her life by: compassion, kindness and service.

Eva Darwin, Yr 13, has been invited to The Legacy Award Ceremony in memory of Princess Diana on Thursday 18th May 2017 at St James's Palace. This event will be attended by Their Royal Highnesses, Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

Eva's work through Buddies has seen her awarded with the prestigious Diana Award, and she has demonstrated in the most exceptional way qualities of kindness, compassion and service to others in our community. As an award holder, Eva will have the opportunity to mix with likeminded people and share her experiences, setting them as a benchmark for all young people to aspire to, and in doing so add value to others they support, as well as their own lives and future prospects. This special ceremony recognises the work of award winners, and will be an experience she will never forget.
